Testing and Maintenance of
Fire Hydrants
On June 30, 2023, the Public Service Commission of West Virginia(Commission) opened a general investigation into the maintenance and testing offire hydrants. Public utilities that own fire hydrants or serve privately owned fire hydrants must provide responsive information as specified in the June 30, 2023 Order to the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Karen Buckley, at P.O. Box 812, Charleston, WV 25323, by July 28, 2023. Interested parties may review the order opening the general investigation online at http://www.psc.state.wv.us/
