Proposed Substantial Amendment
Notice is hereby given by the City of Parkersburg, WV, that public comments are invited regarding the proposed changes to the Community Development Block Grant Program. Changes include removing funding from completed CDBG projects including Market Street Enhancement Phase III, Slum and Blight Demolition Program, and Sound the Alarm Program, and adding this funding to the Downtown Fa ade Rehabilitation Loan Program. These proposed changes shall be presented to the Parkersburg City Council for their review and adoption at its meeting scheduled on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 7:30 PM.
As part of the City’s Citizen Participation Plan, the City of Parkersburg will receive comments from August 18 to September 4, 2023.
