The Parkersburg Police Civil Service Commission will begin testing of applicants for probationary police officers to establish a list of eligible candidates for the Parkersburg Police Department on:
Wednesday, October 4, 2023, 6:00 PM.
The tests will be held on the second floor of the Municipal Building at One Government Square, Parkersburg WV 26101.
Applicants must be US citizens, be between the ages of 18 and 40 at the time of application and possess a valid driver’s license.
We are offering an incentive of $10,000.00 to be paid after a one-year probationary period for fully certified police officers.
Applications may be obtained from the Police Department on the third floor of the Municipal Building at One Government Square; or download from the City of Parkersburg Police Department website (earning the badge/application, then click to download).
The application must be returned to the third floor or mailed in before Monday, October 2, 2023. You may also obtain an application by email by calling 304-424-8412 for more information.
