Be advised that the above-referenced adoption matter is pending in the Circuit Court of Randolph County, West Virginia, 2 Randolph Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241, involving an adoption of your child, N.J.A.H., born May 15, 2016, to C.A.S. You must appear and defend on or before October 27, 2023, which is no less than thirty (30) days after the first publication of this notice. Otherwise, judgment by default will be rendered against you at any time thereafter. A copy of the Complaint/Petition may be obtained from the Randolph County Circuit Clerk. You may serve a response upon the Plaintiffs’/Petitioners’ attorney, Jaymie Godwin Wilfong, Esq., whose address is Wilfong Law Office, 330 Randolph Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241, or upon the Court itself at the aforementioned address. You must appear and defend any such rights you have at a hearing on November 7, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. to be held in the Circuit Court of Randolph County, located at Randolph County Courthouse, 2 Randolph Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241. You are advised that your parental rights, if any, may be terminated in the proceedings and that you may appear and defend your parental rights on or before October 27, 2023. If you fail to respond on or before October 27, 2023, you may not appear in, or receive further notice of the adoption proceedings.
