Wastewater Collection Storage Building
City of Elkins Sanitary Board (City of Elkins)

The Elkins Sanitary Board (City of Elkins), located at 401 Davis Ave Elkins, WV 26241, will receive sealed bids until 10:00AM local time on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Elkins City Hall located at 401 Davis Ave, Elkins, WV 26241 at which time all bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. The City of Elkins reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding and to accept the bid considered to be in its best interest from the lowest responsible bidder. All interested parties are invited to attend.

The major feature of work is to furnish and erect a 40-foot wide by 60-foot long by 16-foot eave height pole building and various other related items. A level site will be provided by the Owner. Building shall be representative and comply with the latest version of the International Building Code.

A bid bond is not required.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory payment and performance bond, for 100 percent of the contract amount and the fee for same shall be included in the bid proposal.

Contractors must submit verification of a drug-free workplace in accordance with WV Code 21-1D-5.

Bidding Documents can be obtained from the City at no cost.

Any contractor submitting a bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that they have a State of West Virginia Contractor’s license per the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act WV Code 30-42-12 and meet all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State of West Virginia and the City of Elkins. Bidder shall provide a copy of the company’s contractor license with the Bid.

The City of Elkins will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to respond to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award.
