NOTICE OF LETTING
Sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Elkins for the construction of a new 8,000 square foot one- story Sanitation Garage building on Baxter Street in Elkins, West Virginia, until Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, 10:00 A.M. Bids will be due at the Operations Office, in City Hall, and will be opened and publicly read aloud at that time. No pre-bid meeting will be held.

Contractors may obtain Bidding Documents from the office of VanNostrand Architects for $50 each. Any requested postage and shipping will be an additional cost. Bidders will be required to furnish a Bid Bond with their submission, and the successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds.
The City of Elkins reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality, deemed to be in the best interest of the project. The City of Elkins will afford full opportunity for minority-owned business enterprises to respond to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, disability, or national origin in the contract award.
