MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Grassy Ridge Sale is located within Compartments 83 and 86, Pendleton County, WV, 15 miles northeast of Bartow, WV, in the headwaters of Big Run.The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241 before or at the time of public bid opening at 2:00 PM local time on 11/30/2023 for an estimated volume of 395 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 614 CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 2180 CCF of Red & Black Oak sawtimber, 361 CCF of Yellow Poplar (YP, Bass, Bi, Cuc) sawtimber, and 1243 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below.
