PUBLIC MEETING
CITY OF BELINGTON
The City of Belington will hold a public meeting on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 7:00 pm prior to their regular council meeting. The meeting will be held at City Hall, 45 S. Crim Avenue, Belington, WV 26201. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Wastewater System Upgrade Project and the associated rates. The public will be given an opportunity to comment and ask questions.
The Project proposes to address the City’s 70% inflow and infiltration issue by rehabilitating portions of the City’s existing wastewater gravity collection system, replacing lift station No. 6 and constructing a drying bed at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. This improvement project will satisfy the requirements of WVDEP Administrative Order 6520, including an updated Long Term Control Plan.
