ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Gilmer County Commission will be accepting bids for the Jailhouse Windows/Doors project at the Gilmer County Courthouse located at 10 Howard Street, Glenville, WV. Bids will be accepted until Tuesday, 4:00 p.m. on December 19, 2023 in the County Commission Room.
This project is partially funded by the West Virginia Courthouse Facilities Improvement Authority.
The scope of work will consist of providing and installing windows and doors at the Gilmer County Jailhouse, located next to the Courthouse. Bids should include:
–Site preparation
–Installation
–22 windows
–3 doors
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for Bidders will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., local time, at the Project Site: Gilmer County Courthouse, 10 Howard St., Glenville, WV 26351. Any contractor wishing to submit a bid must attend the Pre-Bid meeting for their bid to be considered.
BIDDER’S QUALIFICATIONS
Pursuant to Chapter 21-Article 11 of the “West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act” of 1991, all Contractors doing business in West Virginia must be licensed to perform work in the State; the Contractor’s W.V. License Number must be affixed to all submitted construction Bids and fully executed and binding construction Contracts or Agreements.
Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades. Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
