Wood County Schools will be accepting bids for the Kanawha Elementary School HVAC Renovations project. Work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Replacement of existing unit ventilators, PTAC units and rooftop units for gymnasium, cafeteria, and classrooms. This project will also include two (2) added alternates. Alternate 1 is for Jackson Middle School which includes new rooftop units for gymnasium and hallway by front office. Alternate 2 is for Hamilton Middle School which includes new rooftop units for both gymnasiums. Bidding documents are available at www.pickeringplanroom.com on January 12, 2024. Documents can be downloaded for free or hard copies can be ordered for the cost of printing. A Prebid meeting will be held at Kanawha Elementary School located at 6465 Staunton Turnpike, Davisville, WV 26142 on January 18, 2024 at 10:00 am. After site tour of Kanawha Elementary is complete, tours of Hamilton Middle School, and Jackson Middle School will follow at those locations. Bids will be due at 10:00 am on February 16, 2024 at the Wood County Schools Board Office located at 1210 13th Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101 at which time and place there will be a public bid opening.
