The first reading of the following ordinances took place at a Regular Meeting of Weirton City Council on Monday, February 12, 2024. The second reading is scheduled to take place on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., in the Weirton City Council Chambers, 200 Municipal Plaza, Weirton, West Virginia 26062, during the Regular Meeting of Council.

Ordinance No. 2223, to Amend the Traffic Control Map (Amendment No. 866) to Amend Ordinance No. 821, Amendment No. 356, to Establish No Parking on the East Side Only of Pike Street from Cove Road to the Alley.
Ordinance No. 2224 to Modify Ordinance No. 2130, Codified in the City of Weirton Code of Ordinances as Article 971: “Garbage and Rubbish Collection.”
Ordinance No. 2225 to Modify Ordinance #1313, as Amended, Establishing New Salaries for Firefighters Who are Members of the Weirton Firefighters’ Association Local #948, and Authorizing the City Manager to Sign the New Contract Necessary to Place These Changes into Effect.
