NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the above-styled matter has been filed in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (West Virginia Code 60A-7-701, et. seq.). Any person or corporation having a claim to the hereinafter described property shall, on or before the 27th day of March, 2024 file, in writing, their claim to said property with the Clerk of said Court, which said claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon such person or corporation. A copy of said claim shall be delivered to Patrick O. Lefebure, Prosecuting Attorney, Counsel for Petitioners, at the Office of the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney, Judge Donald Black Annex, 317 Market Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101.

Pursuant to West Virginia Code 60A-7-705 (c)(1-6), the following information is given: (1) the property seized which is the subject of the petition filed is $8,864.00 IN UNITED STATES CURRENCY, GLOCK G22 HANDGUN 40 MM WITH MAGAZINE, SERIAL NO. CABU434, GLOCK G17 HANDGUN 9MM WITH MAGAZINE, SERIAL NO. CAGP332, ARMSCOR 40MM AND 9MM AMUNITION, and 2015 FORD TAURUS, VIN 1FAHP2E82FG130733; (2) the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force is responsible for the seizure; (3) the property was seized on November 20, 2023 at 1600 Camden Avenue, Parkersburg, Wood County West Virginia; (4) the only owners of the property subject to forfeiture known to Petitioners is Richard Madison, whose address is 1102 Broadway Avenue Parkersburg, West Virginia and Toni Walker, whose address is 1010-4 Avery Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia; (5) the person(s) having possession of the seized property at the time of the seizure was Richard Madison; and (6) a request to the above named Court to enter an Order directing ownership of said property in the State and the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force will be made.
