Wood County Schools will be accepting bids for the Blennerhassett Middle School Secure Entrance Project. Work shall include, but not be limited to the following: selective demolition of existing administrative offices as well as minor site work to create a new secure entry that is ADA accessible as well as new administrative spaces. This includes renovation of existing spaces, modifications to existing mechanical and electrical systems, and new interior finishes. Alternate 1 includes new HVAC equipment for the Middle School Gymnasium. Bidding documents are available at www.pickeringplanroom.com on April 1, 2024. Documents can be downloaded for free or hard copies can be ordered for the cost of printing. A Prebid meeting will be held at the Blennerhassett Middle School located at 444 Jewell Road, Parkersburg, WV on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Bids will be due at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Wood County Schools Board Office located at 1210 13th Street, Parkersburg, WV, at which time and place there will be a public bid opening.
