Wood County Schools will be accepting bids for the 2024 Paving Projects. Work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Perform pavement and ADA improvements to various locations including Blennerhassett Elementary/Middle School and Williamstown Elementary School. Each project location will consist of either pavement overlays, pavement sealing, pavement repairs, or a combination thereof. Alternate 1 consists of resurfacing the Blennerhassett Elementary/Middle School track which includes milling the old track surface and re-striping after placement of wearing surface. Bidding documents are available at www.pickeringplanroom.com on March 22, 2024. Documents can be downloaded for free or hard copies can be ordered for the cost of printing. A Prebid meeting will be held at the Blennerhassett Elementary School located at 448 Jewell Road, Parkersburg, WV on March 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM and continue to Williamstown Elementary School after. Bids will be due at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Wood County Schools Board Office located at 1210 13th Street, Parkersburg, WV, at which time and place there will be a public bid opening.
