Spencer’s Landing
Amphitheater Engineering
The City of Vienna is seeking a qualified architectural/engineering firm for the design and engineering services for an amphitheater. The City is seeking to develop what has commonly been referred to as Spencer’s Landing located in the 300 block of River Road and adjacent to the Ohio River and formerly known as part of the Johns Manville property. The design firm will develop plans/drawings for the development of the amphitheater.
The services to be provided include planning, detailed design; preparation of construction plans of the amphitheater, parking layout design, stage and stage area including green room, restrooms, concession and merchandise sale area, lights, and sound, covered seating for 3,000 – 4,000 persons; assistance during bidding and construction phase services.
Procurement of said services will be in accordance with the West Virginia Code Chapter 5G-1-3 and other relevant WV statutes, rules and regulations as well as any relevant City of Vienna ordinances, rules or regulations. Qualified firms are encouraged to submit their qualifications. Interested firms or individuals must hold a valid “Certificate of Authorization” to practice engineering in the State of West Virginia.
