NOTICE
The Northern Panhandle Workforce Development Board, Inc.’s (NPWDB, Inc.’s) draft Local Plan of Service for Program Year 2024-2028 is available for review and comment. The Local Plan provides an overview of the structure of the region’s workforce delivery system in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. The Local Plan also provides an overview of the types of training services and programs to be delivered at local regional American Job Centers. One hundred percent (100%) of funding used to administer and deliver program and services detailed in the Local Plan are provided under the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA) through the U.S. Department of Labor. The Local Plan does not necessarily reflect the view or policies of the USDOL, nor does trade names, commercial products or organizations imply endorsement by the US Government. The Local Plan covers services for the following counties: Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel and Tyler counties and the cities of Wheeling and Weirton. The local workforce delivery system, including regional American Job Centers, will be funded with WIOA funds. This Local Plan is for the period July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2028.

STEP 3- Click on “Local Plan, PY 2024-2028” to open the document. The Local Plan is also available at the NPWDB, Inc. Office, 1245 Warwood Avenue, Wheeling, WV for your review.
