Notice is hereby given that the City of Parkersburg, in accordance with Article 1705.08 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Parkersburg, West Virginia, claims a lien to secure the payment of the sum of Six thousand, two hundred eighteen dollars and 08/100 ($6,218.08), plus interest from date of lien, upon your interest in and to the herein described real property lying, situate and being in the City of Parkersburg, County of Wood, State of West Virginia, being more particularly bounded and described as follows:

BEING all of Lot No Six (6) as shown on the Plat of the Subdivision of Whealdon Lot, Fairplains Addition No. 3 of record in the Office of th Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia in Plat Book No 3 at page 129, said lot fronts fifty (50) feet on the westerly side of 13th Street (sic) (should be “Avenue”) and extends back between parallel lines in a westerly direction 136.82 feet.

BEING the same lot conveyed to Michael Chaffin by deed dated the 2nd day of December, 1991, from Michael Aaron Parsons and Gerry L Parsons, husband and wife, and Wanetta F Daugherty Wolf, widow of record in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office in Deed Book No 902 at page 168.

Such claim is made on the basis that the City of Parkersburg has caused to be demolished certain building(s) formerly located upon the above described real property.

The nature of the work performed upon the aforesaid buildings and upon the above described real property, pursuant to a contract for demolition awarded to Raze International, Inc., under lawful bidding procedures, was the demolition by the aforesaid contractor on or around the 8TH day of March, 2024 Said lien is claimed at the price and amount set forth hereinabove, plus interest from date of lien, as shown more fully in the invoice submitted by said contractor which is attached as City Exhibit 1, I in the statement of the various costs necessary and incidental, for such demolition which is attached hereto as City Exhibit 2, which may both be viewed by contacting the City of Parkersburg.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Parkersburg, in accordance with Article 1705.08 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Parkersburg, West Virginia, claims a lien to secure the payment of the sum of Six thousand, two hundred seventy-nine dollars and 41/100 ($6,279.41), plus interest from date of lien, upon your interest in and to the herein described real property lying, situate and being in the City of Parkersburg, County of Wood, State of West Virginia, being more particularly bounded and described as follows:

BEING ALL OF Lot No 5, as shown on a Plat of City Park Place, Parkersburg West Virginia of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia, in Plat Book No 3 at page105, to which Plat reference is here made for a more particular description of the real estate hereby conveyed. Said Lot No 5 fronting 40 feet on the northerly side of 23rd Steet and extending back in a northeasterly direction between parallel lines to an alley.

BEING the same lot conveyed to Delbert W Simmons by deed dated 30th day of June, 1999 from Randy L Simmons, single his son, and recorded in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office in Deed Book No 1001 at page 396.

Such claim is made on the basis that the City of Parkersburg has caused to be demolished certain building(s) formerly located upon the above described real property.

The nature of the work performed upon the aforesaid buildings and upon the above described real property, pursuant to a contract for demolition awarded to Raze International, Inc., under lawful bidding procedures, was the demolition 2024 by the aforesaid contractor on or around the 8TH day of March 2024.
