Wood County Schools will be accepting bids for the Jackson Middle School Secure Entrance Project. Work shall include, but not be limited to the following: selective demolition and renovations of the existing office reception area and a separate storage/classroom space to provide a new accessible secure entrance and reception area. This includes general modifications to electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and new interior finishes. Bidding documents are available at www.pickeringplanroom.com on June 17, 2024. Documents can be downloaded for free or hard copies can be ordered for the cost of printing. A Prebid meeting will be held at the Jackson Middle School located at 1601 34th Street, Vienna, WV on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Bids will be due at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Wood County Schools Board Office located at 1210 13th Street, Parkersburg, WV, at which time and place there will be a public bid opening.
