County Ordinance Change
The local Board of Health ruled to overturn a 1998 ordinance that declared the minimum drainfield size should be 3 – 1000 ft. lines. Hampshire County Board of Health will now follow the state standard of drainfield size dependent on Percolation Test Results. This ruling will be open for public comment for 30 days prior to going into effect. Please submit written comments to:
