PUBLIC NOTICE
Please take notice that Mason Smoot and Jerome Crump are seeking to quiet title to that certain tract or parcel of real property located in the City of Lewisburg, Greenbrier County, West Virginia, located at the corner of Oak Street and Gardner Street, Lewisburg, West Virginia 24901 (the “Property”).
The Property is the same property bequeathed unto W. P. Gardner by the Last Will and Testament of Stephen Gardner, as more particularly described and of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Greenbrier County, West Virginia in Will Book 7 at Page 152, as:
Twenty poles of my lot lying on the westerly side of Walnut Street in the Town of Lewisburg, County of Greenbrier and the state of West Virginia, to be laid off the Westerly end of said lot joining the lands of the heirs of William Montgomery deed in such a manner as to be of equal length and breadth across said rear end of lot to have and to hold to the said William P. Gardner during his life and at the death of said William P. Gardner to the then living children of the said William or heirs of such that may be dead.
The Property was then passed on to Edward M. Gardner, Lake S. Gardner and Sallie K. R. Gardner, the children of William P. Gardner.
If you are an heir of any of the following individuals, you may own a fractional interest in the Property:
• Edward M. Gardner;
• Lake S. Gardner;
• Sallie K. R. Gardner;
• Gustava Gardner;
• Carlos J. Smoot;
• Greta A. Smoot Dry;
• Earnest Gardner; or
• James Seams.
