LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Weirton will be soliciting bids from Demolition and Asbestos contractors. This service is as a result of Code Enforcement efforts citywide. Separate bid packets containing specifications for both demolition and asbestos abatement may be picked up at the inspection’s department in the Weirton City Building at 200 Municipal Plaza between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00P.M. Monday thru Friday.

Bids must be received by 12:00 PM on January 16, 2025. Each bid must be accompanied by a copy of the City Business License, State Contractors License, State Licensing, Workers Compensation, and General Liability Insurance at the time of submission. Demolition bids will be opened at 2:15 PM on January 16,2025 with the Asbestos bid being opened immediately following. The City of Weirton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received, and to accept any proposal which it deems most favorable.
