NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONVEYANCE OF UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PROPERTY (North Ravenswood United Methodist Church) NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church will, on or after July 25, 2025 QUITCLAIM, GRANT and CONVEY to Patrick Johnston all of their right, title and interest in and to those certain lots, tracts or parcels of land situate in Ravenswood Corp. District, Jackson County, West Virginia and more particularly bounded and described as follows, to-wit: BEING LOTS NOS. 93 and 94, of the Brown Addition to the Town of Ravenswood as shown on a map or plat of said Brown Addition now of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Jackson County, West Virginia in Deed Book No. 98 Page 568. AND BEING the same property conveyed to Trustees for the North Ravenswood United Brethren Church from George Cox and Ada Cox by Deed dated February 25, 1957 and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Jackson County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 154 at Page 159, reference to which is hereby made. SAID North Ravenswood United Methodist Church was declared closed effective February 20, 2025 by resolution of a majority of the District Superintendents of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
