NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES The City of Ripley, 203 South Church Street, Ripley, Jackson County, West Virginia is in the process of obtaining a qualified professional engineer in order to determine and provide a written report and integrate into the City’s GIS system, the precise right-of-way measurements of all streets/sidewalks located within Ripley citylimits, for the Ripley Right-of-Way Determination Project. All local and federal purchasing regulations will be followed in this project, to be completed within a two-yearperiod. Procurement of said services shall be in accordance with Chapter 5G of the West Virginia State Code, and applicable federal regulations meeting requirements of OMB Circular A-87, Attachment O, Section 11, Paragraph C(5). All consultants interested in being considered for this project must submit 3 (three) copies each of (1) Letter of Interest; (2) Statement of Qualifications and Experience of staff personnel who will oversee the project; and (3) References. Please submit requested information to the City of Ripley, 203 South Church Street, Ripley, West Virginia no later than 4:00 P.M. on Friday, August 15th, 2025. Attention is directed to the fact that the proposed project may be undertaken utilizing Federal, State, and Local Funds. All work will be performed in accordance with the regulations issued by the Federal Agencies and the State of West Virginia. The selected firm will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Americans with Disabilities Act, and other applicable regulations of the various federal agencies, including Conflict of Interest Statement and Access to Records provisions. The City of Ripley will afford full opportunity to disadvantaged business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award. This contract will be awarded to the responsible party whose qualifications and interview are judged most competitive and determined to be the most advantageous to the City of Ripley.
