NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONVEYANCE OF UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PROPERTY (North Ravenswood United Methodist Church) NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church will, on or after November 7, 2025 QUITCLAIM, GRANT and CONVEY to Casey Construction LLC all of their right, title and interest in and to that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situate in Ravenswood Corp. District, Jackson County, West Virginia and more particularly bounded and described as follows, to-wit: BEING LOTS NO. Fifty-three 53, as shown on the plat of North Ravenswood, of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Jackson County, West Virginia, in Map Book 2, at Pages 22 and 23. AND BEING the same property conveyed to Trustees of the North Ravenswood United Methodist Church from John R. Myers, by Deed dated May 23, 2008 and recorded in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office in Deed Book 397at Page 959, reference to which is hereby made. SAID North Ravenswood United Methodist Church was declared closed effective February 20, 2025 by resolution of a majority of the District Superintendents of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
