NOTICE REQUEST FOR BIDS KITCHEN AND DISHWASHER HOOD CLEANING Bids will be accepted until 11:00 A.M. on February 17, 2026 by the Jackson County Board of Education for the cleaning and disinfecting of kitchen and dishwasher hoods at its schools listed in the Scope of Work. Hoods and ductwork must be cleaned on the inside and outside all the way to the roof. Fans and filters must also be cleaned. All work must pass inspection of the State Fire Marshal’s Office. Cleaning must not start before July 1, 2026 and must be completed by August 7, 2026. All cleaning must be done during the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. unless other arrangements have been made. Contractors not previously employed by Jackson County Schools to perform this service must provide a detailed written description of their qualifications to perform this service, cleaning procedures they use, and two references of similar work provided for other clients. Within ten days of the contract award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish written verification of Worker’s Compensation Coverage, Liability Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000, and a General Contractor’s License for the State of West Virginia.
