Request for Bids Jackson County Board of Education is seeking proposals for service of/and change out HVAC filters at ten (10) schools four time per year. The intent is to enter into a contractual agreement with one company for a minimum of a twelve (12) month term. The contract may be extended, upon mutual agreement of both parties, for additional one year periods. A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on February 26, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. at the Jackson County Board of Education Administrative Building located at 1 School Street, Ripley, WV 25271. Sealed bids must be submitted by March 5, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. All bids must be made to the attention of Tim Brown, Assistant Superintendent; P.O. Box 770; Ripley, WV 25271 and marked HVAC Filters. Pricing and contracting should be based on quarterly maintenance/service and a description of what is included. Contractors not previously employed by Jackson County Schools to perform such services must provide a detailed written description of their qualifications to complete this service and two references of similar work provided for other clients. Within ten (10) days of the contract award, the successful bidder must provide written verification of Workers’ Compensation Coverage, liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00, and a general contractor’s license for the state of West Virginia. Jackson County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process.
