Attendance is MANDATORY: All bidders MUST attend the prebid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions and other relevant information. Should a bidder fail to attend, the bid will be disqualified. Scope of work under base bid consists of removal and replacement of the existing roof with gutters on two buildings; replacement of HVAC units and relocation of units and ductwork; new gas line installation; stand-by generator installation; remediation and renovation of the lobby and front office area. Including but not limited to; painting of all interior walls, replacement of all ceiling tiles, new flooring materials, remodel of entrances, new lighting, etc. Asphalting of the parking lot. Bidders are required to be bonded, hold a valid WV Contractor’s License, and provide proof of Liability Insurance and worker’s Compensation coverage. The Jackson County Health Department reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals and waive any informality in the process.
