NOTICE REQUEST FOR BIDS CARPET CLEANING The Jackson County Board of Education will accept bids for carpet cleaning to be completed in various schools between June 1, 2026 and August 8, 2026. Cleaning bids will be based on a price per square foot. Specifications for this bid can be obtained by contacting Tim Brown, Assistant Superintendent, at [email protected] or (304) 372-7305. All proposals must be submitted to the Jackson County Board of Education Administrative Office Building located at: PO Box 770, Ripley, WV 25271, no later than 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 7, 2026. The successful bidder must verify the following: 1) possession of a current West Virginia Contractor’s or Business License, 2) Worker’s Compensation Coverage for employees, 3) Liability Insurance, and 4) a criminal background check on all employees. The Jackson County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals and waive any informality in the process. William P.
