The West Virginia University-Parkersburg, Parkersburg, West Virginia will receive bids for Site Improvements and Asphalt Paving at West Virginia University-Parkersburg until 2:00 pm., local prevailing time on 29th day of May 2026, at the Main Campus Building Office Conference Room at West Virginia University-Parkersburg, 300 Campus Drive, Parkersburg, WV, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference, for General Construction, has been scheduled for the 22nd day of May, 2026, at 2:00 pm, at the Main Campus Building Office Conference Room at West Virginia University-Parkersburg, 300 Campus Drive, Parkersburg, WV, 26104. A site visit will be conducted following the meeting.
The contract documents are available only from the architect’s electronic distribution system. Login credentials will be sent to all prospective contractors and subcontractors after the request is made to [email protected]. Addenda will be only distributed electronically from the Architects electronic distribution system to bidders registered in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting.
Each Bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue and the West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for his Bid to be considered. Each Bidder’s registration certificate number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal.
All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State prior to submitting a bid for this project as required by Chapter 21, Article 11, of the Code of West Virginia. Each Bidder’s Contractor license number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal.
West Virginia University-Parkersburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
A satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia, in an amount equal to five (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the West Virginia University-Parkersburg, shall be submitted with each Bid.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and the fee for same shall be included in their bid.
No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least thirty (30) days.
The West Virginia University-Parkersburg, Parkersburg, WV reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
