Petitioners having filed a Petition in the aforementioned matter regarding adoption, and it now appearing that personal service on biological father, Pedro Duarte, regarding notice of this matter cannot be made due to the unknown whereabouts of his location, it is hereby Ordered and Adjudged, on Petition of Paul G. Taylor, attorney for Petitioner, that Pedro Duarte, who has absented herself from the jurisdiction, be notified by publication that this matter is set for hearing on 15th day of July, 2026 at 2:00 PM, before the Honorable Bridget Cohee, Judge of the Circuit Court of Jefferson County, West Virginia at the Jefferson County Courthouse located at 119 N. George St, Charles Town, WV 25414.
It is further Ordered that the notice of this Order shall, within one week, be published in “The Journal”, a newspaper printed in Berkeley County, Martinsburg, West Virginia, at least once (1) a week for two (2) consecutive weeks.
