LEGAL NOTICE Jackson County Schools, Ripley, West Virginia, is accepting proposals from qualified vendors to provide an on-site physical therapist two days per week to deliver educationally related physical therapy services to eligible students. Physical therapy services will be funded through Medicaid and county funds and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and county requirements. The physical therapist will be responsible for providing educational physical therapy services; case management; developing present levels of performance, goals, and service-time recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); maintaining therapy-related equipment; and training staff on the use of such equipment. The physical therapist will also be responsible for screening and evaluating students, as appropriate, and following all requirements under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), West Virginia Policy 2419, and Jackson County Schools policies and procedures. The physical therapist will work under the supervision of the Director of Special Education. Proposals must be submitted no later than June 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
