NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO PURSUE AN
INCREASE IN WATER RATES AND CHARGES
In accordance with the requirements of W. VA. CODE § 16-13A-9, Lubeck Public Service District (the “District”) provides notice of its intent to pursue an increase in its current rates and charges for water service. An increase in the District’s rates and charges for water service is necessary to generate the additional revenue required to pay increased operation and maintenance expenses and to fund the District’s cash working capital reserve account. The average monthly bill for the various classes of water customers will change as follows:

The District will conduct a public hearing regarding the proposed water rate increase July 2, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., at the District’s Office, 301 Ox Johnson Lane, Washington, West Virginia. The
public hearing is open to the public and all interested parties may appear at the public hearing and present comment or protest with respect to the proposed water rate increase.
Details regarding the proposed increased water rates are on file with and available for public inspection during normal business hours at District’s Office, 301 Ox Johnson Lane, Washington, West Virginia.
