Notice is hereby given that CONSOL Mining Company LLC, 275 Technology Drive, Suite 101, Canonsburg, PA 15317 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840 for a Phase 1, 2, and 3 release on Permit Number U001184 Increment Number 3 issued for 75.62 acres.
The permit is located in Rock District of Mercer County, 1.8 miles north of Hiawatha on Right Hand Fork of Wide Mouth Creek and Rich Creek, both of Bluestone River; of Milam Fork of Barkers Creek of Guyandotte River of Lower New River.
CONSOL Mining Company LLC completed final reclamation on 09/25/2012 and is requesting release of 100 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $125,500.00.
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until August 16, 2026 or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
