NOTICE OF APPROVED EMERGENCY INTERIM RATES

NOTICE is hereby given of approved emergency interim rates. By Interim Recommended Decision entered on February 20, 2020, the Public Service Commission approved emergency interim rates, subject to refund, as requested on January 31, 2020, by the Central Boaz Public Service District in order to avoid financial distress. The effect of the emergency interim rates is as follows:

Anyone desiring to review the Staff recommendation report may do so on the Commission website (www.psc.state.wv.us). Anyone desiring to protest the interim rates and charges must do so, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P. O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323. Final recommended rates will be established after Staff’s further review. Those rates may be equal to, less than or more than interim rates. At that time, if requested and justified, a hearing in the matter may be held.
If no hearing is justified, the Commission may affirm the proposed final rates without a hearing.
