PUBLIC NOTICE
The West Virginia Division of Forestry will be conducting public tours at Kumbrabow State Forest on Saturday, March 21st, 2020. This tour will be to inform the public of plans for a timber harvests that will provide wildlife habitat diversity and increased forest growth potential to this part of the forest. The tour of the Rich Mountain 22 timber harvest along Rich Mountain Fire Trail will take place at 10:00 A.M. We will meet at the Kumbrabow State Forest office. The tour will involve a one half mile hike off trail over uneven ground in the woods. This is the opportunity for the public to learn about the project in order to provide meaningful input and comments.
