NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES

NORTH FORK DISPOSAL SERVICE, LLC
CASE NO. 19-0885-MC-19A

On September 11, 20 19, North Fork Disposal Service, LLC, a motor carrier, filed with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia, an application requesting increased rates and charges for the transportation of solid waste in Pendleton County.

The Public Service Commission has reviewed the application and has conditionally approved increased and charges designed to produce approximately $37,649, annually, in additional revenue, an increase of 23.82%, for residential customers. For commercial customers, increased proposed rates will generate an additional revenue amount of $56,010, annually, over current revenue or an increase of 23.82%. The present and proposed rates are as follows:

CURRENT
The Carrier may, but is not required to, assess an additional charge for the collection and disposal of more than eight (8) bags of solid waste, or an equivalent amount of solid waste, per week. This charge if assessed shall be one dollar ($1) per bag, or the equivalent.

PROPOSED
The Carrier may, but is not required to, assess an additional charge for the collection and disposal of more than six (6) bags of solid waste, or an equivalent amount of solid waste, per week. This charge if assessed shall be one dollar ($1) per bag, or the equivalent.

Any person affected by this change has a right to protest or to be heard as to why the changes should not be allowed, either wholly or in part.

Anyone desiring to protest the changed rates and charges must do so in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. AI1 protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.0. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to reasons that the changed rates and charges should be modified.

If no hearing is requested and justified, the Commission may affirm the proposed rates without a hearing.
