MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The West Fork Helicopter Sale is located within 10 miles Northwest of Bartow, WV in Pocahontas County, in the drainage of the West Fork of the Greenbrier River. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids by mail only at Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore St., Elkins WV 26241, ATTN: West Fork Helicopter Sale at 2:00 PM local time on 05/07/2020 for an estimated volume of 1709 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 705 CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 13 CCF of Hardwood – Other (Bi,) sawtimber, 1365 CCF of Red & Black Oak (SO) sawtimber, and 642 CCF of Yellow Poplar (YP, Cuc, Bass) sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Forest Supervisor’s Office.
