The Barbour County Commission will accept sealed proposals for the construction of an all-season restroom facility that will be located in the park area of the Barbour County Fairgrounds. The facility is to have separate male and female sections that are ADA and Section 504 compliant. An electric heat source is to be installed to prevent freezing during cold months. Moderate site work will be required for the proposed facility and existing utilities will be utilized. The interior and exterior shall consist of material that is low maintenance. The men’s restroom shall consist of one handicap toilet cubicle and two urinals with a divider. The women’s restroom shall consist of two toilet cubicles, one being handicap accessible. Each shall consist of one handwashing sink, one hand dryer and one child changing table. The contractor will provide all materials, labor and equipment to complete the project.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on April 10 at 3:00 pm on site. All bids must be sent to the Barbour County Commission at 26 North Main, Philippi, WV 26416. Deadline to accept bids will be April 24, 2020 at 4:30 pm.
