MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Back Fork SBA Sale is located within 10 miles Northwest of Bartow WV, in Randolph County, in the headwaters of McGee Run. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids by mail only at the Forest Supervisors’s Office at 2:00 PM local time on 06/11/2020. Mail bids to: Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins WV 26241, ATTN: Back Fork SBA Sale. This sale has an estimated volume of 489 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 1154 CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 137 CCF of Hardwood – Other (BI, Hic, Loc, Elm) sawtimber, 296 CCF of Oak (WO, CO, SO) sawtimber, 543 CCF of Red & Black Oak sawtimber, 251 CCF of Yellow Poplar (YP, Bass, Cuc) sawtimber, and 229 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. This is a small business set-aside sale. If no self-certifying small business concern makes a valid bid, the Forest Service will readvertise this sale without restrictions on bidder size. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Forest Supervisor’s Office, Greenbrier Ranger District.
