LEGAL NOTICE-BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 8A, ARTICLE 24 OF THE CODE OF WEST VIRGINIA, AS AMENDED, AND THE PARKERSBURG ZONING ORDINANCE A-2530 AS ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 27, 1973, THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS WILL HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., ON AUGUST 19, 2020, IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE PARKERSBURG MUNICIPAL BUILDING, ONE GOVERNMENT SQUARE, PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA, TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING APPEALS:
A. Applicant/Owners: Pasi & Bonnie Sikio
Requesting a variance in order to construct a 16×22 room addition in the rear of a dwelling at 1226 16th Street in an R-2 District.
B. Applicant/Owners: Marion Garner
Requesting a conditional use to utilize two adjacent lots that he owns for storage of items next to Buck’s Automotive Repair at 1206 Broadway Ave, in a B-1 District.
C. Applicant/Owners: J & M Development, LLC
Requesting a variance to utilize approximately 12 feet of an unused portion of the Right-of-Way/Alley for a proposed commercial structure at 2014 Neal Street, in a B-2 District. This is contingent upon approval of Municipal Planning Commission, who are meeting regarding this on August 21, 2020.
