PUBLIC NOTICE
The Wood – Washington – Wirt Interstate Planning Commission (WWW) well hold a special meeting of the Policy Board on August 24, 2020. The purpose of the meeting is to receive authorization from the Policy Board to enter into a consultant contract for the development of the Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) 2045. The LRTP is a transportation planning document required to have a twenty-year planning period, be financially feasible, pass air quality conformity tests, have a multimodal component consisting of transit, bicycle and pedestrian considerations, include recommended priority improvements, and include performance measures reporting requirements. The Policy Board will also be requested to approve an amendment to WWW’s Fiscal Year 2021 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). The amendment is to revise the UPWP budget to reflect the LRTP project cost. Anyone interested in reviewing proposed resolutions can visit the agency website located at www.triplw.org. Due to COVID-19 public distancing requirements the meeting will tack place virtually via Microsoft Teams on August 24, 2020 at 10:00 am. All WWW board meetings are open to the public.
