NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Heckart Ridge Helicopter Re-Ad Sale is located within 30 Miles Northeast of Parsons WV, in Preston County, in the headwaters of Leadmine Run. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids by mail only, and results will be publicly posted on the Monongahela National Forest Timber website as soon as practical after bid opening. Mail bids to Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins WV 26241, ATTN: Heckart Ridge Helicopter Re-Ad Sale. Bids shall be postmarked and received prior to 2:00 PM local time on 09/15/2020. There is an estimated volume of 1030 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 821 CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 107 CCF of Hardwood – Other (WP, BE, BI, Hem, SO)sawtimber, 469 CCF of Oak (WO, CO) sawtimber, 2785 CCF of Red & Black Oak sawtimber, and 2209 CCF of Yellow Poplar (Bass, Cuc, YP) sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Forest Supervisor’s Office, Cheat Ranger District.
