NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
THE MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARKERSBURG WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2020 AT 12:30 P.M. IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE PARKERSBURG MUNICIPAL BUILDING, ONE GOVERNMENT SQUARE, PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA. AT THAT TIME AND PLACE ANY INTERESTED PARKERSBURG RESIDENT OR PROPERTY OWNER IS INVITED TO COMMENT ON AND AID THE MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION IN CONSIDERING THE FOLLOWING:

A. Petition to abandon the southerly 25′ portion of West Virginia Avenue (34th Street), beginning at the easterly right-of-way of Poplar Street and proceeding in an easterly direction, to the westerly right-of-way of Walnut Street, being approximately 600′ x 25′.

B. Petition to subdivide 2801 23rd Street at the north-easterly intersection of Congdon Drive and 23rd Street into two lots, one 4,992 square foot lot at 2801 23rd Street
and one 2,438 square foot lot at 2801 ½ Congdon Drive. The applicant is requesting a variance of 2,008
square feet and 4,562 square feet respectively.
