NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES

On April 23, 2020, Union Williams Public Service District filed with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia an Application requesting increased rates and charges for furnishing sewer service to approximately 1,833 customers in Pleasant and Wood Counties, West Virginia.

The Staff and the Public Service Commission have reviewed the Application and recommended increased rates and charges designed to produce approximately $18,544 annually in additional revenue, an overall increase of 1.28%. The current and Staff-recommended rates are as follows:

Anyone desiring to protest the proposed rates and charges must do so, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protest should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P. O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to reasons that the proposed rates and charges should be modified.

The Commission may adopt rates and charges for the utility which are the same as, greater than or less than Staff-recommended rates and charges.
