PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES

The Randolph County Commission, 4 Randolph Ave., Suite 102, Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia is in the process of obtaining an Engineer to provide engineered plans, detailed construction documents and supply of water play and mechanical equipment for the Randolph County Swimming Pool and Splash Pad Project, which will be located at 1953 Country Club Road, Elkins, West Virginia. Plans must be stamped by a West Virginia P.E.

Procurement of said services shall be in accordance with Chapter 5G of the West Virginia State Code, and applicable federal regulations meeting requirements of OMB Circular A-87, Attachment O, Section 11, Paragraph C(5). All consultants interested in being considered for this project must submit 5 (five) copies each of (1) Letter of Interest; (2) Statement of Qualifications and Experience of staff persons who will be in charge of the project; and (3) References.

Please submit requested information to the Randolph County Commission, 4 Randolph Ave., Suite 102, Elkins, West Virginia 26241 no later than 4:00P.M., October 12, 2020.

Attention is directed to the fact that the proposed project may be undertaken utilizing Federal, State, and Local Funds. All work will be performed in accordance with the regulations issued by the Federal Agencies and the State of West Virginia. The selected firm will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Americans with Disabilities Act, and other applicable regulations of the various federal agencies, including Conflict of Interest Statement and Access to Records provisions.

The Randolph County Commission will afford full opportunity to disadvantaged business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap or national origin in the contract award.

This contract will be awarded to the responsible party whose proposal & interview are judged most competitive and determined to be the most advantageous to the Randolph County Commission.
