The Town of Harman will be holding its General Election on June 8, 2021 for the position of a mayor, one (1) recorder, and five (5) council members. All are two (2) year terms. Any citizen eligible to hold office and desiring to appear on the ballot must file a Candidate’s Certificate of Announcement. The filing period is currently open and closes at midnight on Sat., Jan. 30, 2021. The filing may be made by mail, providing the filing is postmarked by the US Postal Service no later than midnight Sat., Jan. 30, 2021 or hand delivered. Candidate may obtain Certificate of Announcement by calling 304-227-4752 after 4 p.m.
