NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED EQUIPMENT FINANCING

Volunteer Fire Department: New Cumberland VFD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Body of the Volunteer Fire Department will meet at the time, date and place noted below in order to hold a public hearing under the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, on the proposal that the Volunteer Fire Department enter into a lease-purchase agreement to finance certain equipment.
Meeting Date/Time: April 11, 2021 at 1PM
Meeting Location: New Cumberland VFD
To finance the costs of the equipment (which is described generally below) and the expenses incidental to the financing, the Volunteer Fire Department proposes to enter into a lease-purchase agreement in the aggregate principle amount stated below. The Volunteer Fire Department will be required to pay all lease for the equipment, to pay all expenses of operating, maintaining and insuring the equipment and to pay all taxes on the equipment. The Volunteer Fire Department’s obligations under the lease-purchase agreement will be secured by a security interest in the equipment.

All persons interested may appear and be heard at said time and place or may file written comments with the Governing Body of the Volunteer Fire Department prior to the date of the public hearing set forth above.
