LEGAL NOTICE
The Town of North Hills WV is soliciting bids for
upcoming road repair work.
1.0 BID SCOPE FOR ROAD PAVING AND PATCHING
* Contract will cover road paving and patching in the Town of North Hills WV
* Length of contract will be from January 1, 2021 thru December 31, 2022. With option to continue for additional 2 years until December 31, 2024
* Pre-Bidding Meeting will be held at Town Council Meeting on April 8th 2021 at Ohio Valley University @ 8p.
* Bid details and requirements will be reviewed and presented at the Pre-Bidding Meeting on 4/8/2021.
2.0 BID REQUIREMENTS FOR ROAD PAVING AND PATCHING
* All bids received must be sealed and opened at council meeting April 22nd, 2021.
* Contractor must provide evidence of liability insurance.
* Contractor must have a valid West Virginia contractor’s license.
* Contractor must provide evidence of worker compensation coverage.
* Contractor must have 8 continuous and current years of experience in municipal paving and provide reference for same.
* Contractor must provide a listing of professional and contractor membership(s).
* Contractor is not to subcontract work.
* Awarded jobs must be complete within 45 days of awarding, unless other agreement is made with Town.
* Contractor will comply with all OSHA, EPA, and State of WV rules/regulations/law.
* Written contract or agreement signed by both parties.
* Work to be completed as advertised.
