Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Weirton in Council Chambers, 200 Municipal Plaza on April 21, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. to consider the preliminary subdivision by Kensington Investment Properties

The Plan submitted consists of a Subdivision of All that certain parcels of land situate on Putnam Lane in the City of Weirton, Butler District, County of Hancock and State of West Virginia, consisting of part and parcels of Section 2 of the ‘West View Terrace Subdivision’, a plat which is of record in Plat Book 4 at Page 87 in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Hancock County, West Virginia and part and parcels of Section 3 of the ‘West View Terrace Subdivision’, a plat which is of record in Plat Book 6 at Page 10 in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Hancock County, West Virginia and being more described as follows:
Beginning at a point at the northeast corner of Lot 16 and northwest corner of Lot 17 as recorded in Section 2 of the ‘West View Terrace Subdivision’;
Thence along the common property line between Lot 16 and Lot 17 South 09 degrees 04 minutes 00 seconds West 312.74 feet to a point on the northern right of way line of Putnam Lane (40′ R/W);
Thence crossing Putnam Lane South 35 degrees 17 minutes 23 seconds West 40.00 feet to a point on the southern right of way line of Putnam Lane (40′ R/W);
Thence along the southern line of Putnam Lane South 54 degrees 42 minutes 37 seconds East 3.05 feet to a point of curvature;
Thence continuing along the southern line of Putnam Lane on a curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 20.00 feet, an arc distance of 33.18 feet to a point on the western right of way line of Ann Street (25′ R/W);
Thence along the western line of Ann Street South 40 degrees 20 minutes 32 seconds West 86.05 feet to a point, said point being the southwestern corner of Lot 26 as recorded in Section 3 of the ‘West View Terrace Subdivision’, a plat which is of record in Plat Book 6 at Page 10;
Thence along the common property lines of Section 3 Lots 26, 27, 28, and 29 and lands of now or formerly of Jamison Haspel recorded in Deed Book 285 at Page 189, North 80 degrees 20 minutes 49 seconds East 232.57 feet to a point;
Thence along the common property lines of Section 3 Lots 29, 30, 31 and 32 and lands of now or formerly of Arthur E. Matey recorded in Deed Book 196 at Page 76, North 80 degrees 40 minutes 15 seconds East 192.47 feet to a point, the southwest corner of Section 3 Lot 32;
Thence along the common property lines of Section 3 Lot 32, Section 2 Lot 23 and lands of now or formerly of Charles and Patricia Granato recorded in Deed Book 837 at Page 2829, North 00 degrees 02 minutes 02 seconds West 428.98 feet to a point on the southern line of a 25 foot right of way;
Thence along the southern line of the 25.00 right of way South 80 degrees 56 minutes 00 seconds East 304.43 feet to a point on the western line of Section 2 Lot 19;
Thence along the western line of Section 2 Lot 19 North 09 degrees 04 minutes 00 seconds West 25.00 feet to a point, said point being the common corner of Lot 6 and Lot 7 in Section 1 of the ‘West View Terrace Subdivision’, a plat which is of record in Plat Book 4 at Page 61 in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Hancock County, West Virginia;
Thence along the common line of Section 1 Lots 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 and Section 2 Lots 19, 18, 17 and 16 South 80 degrees 56 minutes 00 seconds East 239.82 feet to to the point of beginning, overall description containing 5.056 acres less right of way area of Putnam Lane of 0.521 acres leaving 4.535 acres, more or less.

Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Weirton in Council Chambers, 200 Municipal Plaza on April 21 at 5:30 p.m. to consider Subdivision Waivers by the Kensington Investment Properties.

The Kensington Investment Properties is seeking a subdivision wavier from Article 10 Table 2 Development Standards for the minimum lot width of 60 Ft. in a R1 District.
