PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE RELATING TO TRANSFER OF CONTROL OF CABLE FRANCHISE AND CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEM Notice is hereby given that on the 27th day of October, 2015, the City Council of the City of Beckley caused to be read an Ordinance proposing the transfer of control of the cable franchise and system held by Cequel Corporation, the parent of Cequel III Communications II, LLC dba Suddenlink Communications. The title of such Ordinance reads: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF CONTROL OF THE CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE AND CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEM NOW HELD BY CEQUEL CORPORATION, THE PARENT OF CEQUEL III COMMUNICATIONS II, LLC DBA SUDDENLINK COMMUNICATIONS TO ALTICE N.V. The Beckley City Council will have a public hearing and its final reading and vote on the ordinance on November 10, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 409 South Kanawha Street, Beckley. The hearing will be open to the public and any interested parties may appear and present protests, if any, with respect to the proposed ordinance.
